Why Is My Short URL Not Working?
If a shortened link fails, the cause can be the destination, the short-link service, the domain, or the browser. Work through the checks below.
Check the address
Make sure the short URL was copied completely and contains no extra punctuation or spaces.
Test the destination
If the short link redirects to a page that is offline, moved or restricted, the short link cannot fix that destination problem.
Try another browser
Open the link in a private window or another browser. This helps identify local cache, extension or session issues.
Check the shortener service
A service outage, deleted link or domain configuration problem can prevent redirects. If you own the link, review its status and destination.
